The Challenge
Liberia receives over $800 million in remittances annually, with education being one of the primary reasons families send money home. However, traditional methods of paying tuition have been fraught with challenges:
Lack of Transparency
Families often couldn't verify if tuition payments reached schools or when they were processed.
Complex Payment Chains
Multiple intermediaries, high fees, and lengthy processing times made tuition payments expensive and unreliable.
Limited Digital Infrastructure
Most Liberian educational institutions lacked modern payment systems to receive international payments directly.

Our Story
Lib School Pay was founded in 2023 by a team of Liberian technology professionals living in the diaspora who experienced firsthand the challenges of supporting family members' education back home.
After struggling with unreliable money transfer services, unclear payment confirmations, and high fees, our founders realized that thousands of other Liberian families faced the same challenges. The lack of a direct, transparent way to pay tuition was creating unnecessary stress and barriers to education.
Working closely with the University of Liberia, AME University, Cuttington University, and other leading institutions, we built Lib School Pay as a bridge between the diaspora and educational institutions in Liberia.
Today, Lib School Pay serves families across 10+ countries, helping thousands of students access quality education while providing their families with peace of mind that their tuition payments are handled securely and transparently.
